How do you get over a guy?

So I’ve been friends with this guy for a while, and I’ve asked him out twice and he said no both times, but I can’t manage to get over the crush I have on him. How do I get over him?

Either see him as a friend or cut losses, if he's not interested personally for me that'd be instant turn off. If you dont have the chemistry don't bother, it will just hurt you in the end

You have to look at him differently. Get them off the pedestal of perfection, you have to think of him like an asshole, you have to create scenarios in your head just like you did about all the good things about him, but now you have to create bad words, he chews with his mouth open and food shoots out, he kills puppies for fun he picks his nose and picks his ass and eats it, whatever the hell you have to do, but you have to look at them differently, not have him on that perfection pedestal and look at him for who he truly is, he’s not someone who wants you, he’s not someone who wants to be with you, he’s not perfect, he’s far from perfection. You keep yourself busy, you block and delete him on everything, so you don’t have to see him move on, and you focus on yourself, you better yourself, you exercise, because that is great to combat depression or sadness. Exercise releases serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, all the feel good hormones, get out into the sun first thing in the morning and take a five minute walk, let that be your escape from reality, wakes up the body, it helps you focus your thoughts, focus your day, exercise is great. Listening to your favorite music, it’s even a better mood, spending time with friends and family or a pet or getting a job or a second job, volunteering is excellent, it’s like a makeover for the soul, it makes you have a different perspective in life that there’s more to life than just what goes on in your home, it makes you have an attitude of gratitude that you don’t have To deal with what they have to deal with, like people who are homeless, feeding homeless at the Soup kitchen￼, Reading to the blind, Habitat for Humanity for people who’ve lost their homes, you never know where you meet someone, shared common interest, taking up an activity, painting, ceramics, cleaning up the park, volunteering at a pet shelter, etc. and next time to avoid awkward avoidance or ghosting or rejection, let the man approach you, let him take the risk, do your own thing until somebody does. And then you never have to worry about awkward avoidance etc. Let them be the ones who take the chance and take the risk not you. Focus on yourself, better your life, when your self-esteem and your self-worth is high, you attract higher quality people. When your self-esteem is low and your self-worth is low, you attract whatever crap will have you, you settle for less than you deserve etc.￼ Focus on yourself, bed of your life, do your thing girl you’ve got this
