Am I wrong for being mad?

I’m not very close to my moms side, why? My cousin molested me, I spoke up and caused all this drama. So now “family” parties are so uncomfortable, we just keep our distance but my bf tells him hi. It gets me so mad how he says hi to him and he tells me that’s all he’ll do, am I wrong for getting mad,,,
No one believed me so for my own partner to say hi to him, hurts. 
What are your thoughts/ opinions
He shakes his hand and says hi, he says he doesn’t want to cause a scene not “noticing” him. This guy molested me several times, I can give two fucks what the family or him think. Am I wrong for this??

I would definitely be upset and honestly wouldn't be going to family events if they all thought I was lying about being molested.

Absolutely not wrong. I think it may be best for you to not attend the family gatherings. If he’s still allowed around and your family doesn’t believe you, then it shows where you stand to them.

I would kinda be upset. So you see I was raped by my Uncle (Dads brother). I thought no believed me when it came out. My grandmother was like how could you say that, how could you do that to your uncle. My "favorite" one was how could you do this to me. I stopped talking to my dads family for awhile about a week before my wedding my dad asked me if my grandmother could have my email address. I was like yea sure. She denied saying all that and asked why I stopped talking to everyone and blocked them. I was so traumatized I had such a horrible night terror I left bruises on my husband cause I thought he was my uncle and was attacking me again. Few more years went by I had no choice but to move my husband and I in with my dad. We went to the family reunion and everything was surprisingly civil until that Uncle came. 2 of my others uncles pulled my now ex husband to the side and told him not to leave me or my sister alone with him. My husband and I were civil with him cause we didn't want to start any problems cause we were there for almost a week. But this last August that Uncle or his wife would not come anywhere near me or talk to me and for once I was grateful.

I think it’s horrible that your family doesn’t support you on this! I would try to report this even if it happened along time ago bc there may be more survivors and more resent!
