Ladies, we were raised in the era of the side part and Im finding it hard to let it go, thoughts?

Alright ladies we were raised in the era of a side part and dang it I’m finding it hard to let it go. I got my hair done yesterday and I really like what she did but I’m not sure I look right with a center part. Anyone else finding it hard to let go of the side part? Or am I supposed to show I’m not that “old” and I can still adapt to new trends?!

I’m 32 and I do whatever I want with my hair depending on the day 🤷🏻‍♀️
Sometimes it’s parted in the middle and sometimes I flip it to the side.
Literally not a single care what any “rules” are.

I wear a Hijab, so nobody except the people in my immediate family ever see my hair. It definitely takes a lot of societal pressure away from me..I mostly wear buns to be honest. But when I do have a part, it's a side part. And it forever will be a side part 😂

Your middle part looks SO good. Mine I have thinning hair just only right there so I literally can't middle part. Plus I look dorky. I get that my side part isn't trendy, but I think not trendy looks better than balding

I think you look amazing like this!! I also think if you want to keep rocking a side part you should do that! These trends come and go, if you feel your best with a side part then definitely wear it that way!
