Take a good moment

I want to take a good moment and discuss some things. Me and my dad are talking about men who are raped by women. He is telling me it is no possible way that a man can be raped by a woman. He is saying a woman can not rape a noodle. Now I have a different stand point and I’m highly offended about his words. Involuntary arousal HAPPENS. Just like with women. And fight or flight responses are very real. And people like him is why people do not report rape! He thinks everyone automatically fights people off and that’s not true. I was raped by his son growing up and I personally froze each time. I’m not even going to label this anonymous because this is my story. Processing things in the matter of a couple minutes (and the age range we are speaking about it from 8-15) is hard for any child especially with a traumatic event happening. I watched a bunch of interviews and have seen scientific studies as well spoken to plenty of counselors about this. A lot of women feel ashamed for being “ aroused” for lack of better words when they are raped. It’s the same for men. But if I’m wrong please express this in the comments. I don’t even want to make this long cause I want people to actually read it.
