Nervous going to an ex's funeral

I've got an ex's funeral coming up, not sure what to wear. I'm feeling a bit awkward because we are exs.

Its been years since we broke up, but I am hurt by his passing. I wanted the chance to say bye, we never really had closure.

We didn't have a bad break up, I used to get along well with his dad.

I asked one of his brothers about the funeral date, I how I definitely wouldn't go to the wake. Because I'd awkwardly be on my own.

I'm guess my nerves are that I've never really been to a funeral and the ones I remember were when I was younger and went with family
