Am I wrong for wanting to leave?

He drinks entirely too much and doesn’t know his limit! Gets overly aggressive could be physical abuse emotional abuse. Towards me and my kids. I feel like I walk on eggshells when he starts drinking smh and he doesn’t want to go to AA. He’s not going through anything. He says he drinks because he just wants to unwind

Sounds like you have already tried everything you could and he just doesn't want to change so he won't. Especially if its causing him to be abusive, get out and protect yourself and your kids! 
Maybe that will open his eyes finally and he'll change, then you'll have to decide if you even want to go back to him or not. But maybe it still won't change him at all but then you've certainly made the right decision by leaving. Either way, dont stay like this.
