I was having a conversation with my friends and about toys for Christmas we all have daughters and sons, so this one friend in particular was talking about getting her baby boy a kitchen set she just asked for my opinion I said it’s fine. My other friend said that she shouldn’t because that’s for girls basically she was trying to say that would make him gay. I got pissed, I know you can’t tell other people what to do with their kids but I have two girls and I buy them legos, hot wheels,baby dolls, kitchen sets, dolls houses and tool sets. And my girls are just fine, my thing is that in society little girls don’t have much too choose from everything is geared towards wife or mother for example baby dolls, baby doll diapers, baby doll strollers, cleaning sets, grocery carts, cooking kitchen sets. Sometimes my kids get tired and say mom I want something different so I buy play doh, tool sets,banks, cars etc. I want to show my kids that they have different options in this world other than being a mother or wife. I teach my kids to do whatever makes you happy. In my opinion there is no such thing as a boy toy or girls toy, it’s for everyone idk what’s wrong with people. I just checked out of the conversation because she sounded dumb to me. What are some of y’all opinions?
