Hi Mamas!

I had my first scan today (will be 12 weeks soon) and my doctor didn't find a heart beat with the Doppler or the Mobile Ultrasound machine, but we were able to see baby kicking and squiggling around my Dr. Had no concerns but was surprised at the position of my baby for its gestational age. He expected it to be lower closer to the panty line.

I have attached a picture, the red line is where expected baby to be and purple box is the area baby is around right now. ( I know things can change) but then he said I could be further along then we expected (which I don't think is possible because I had a full period prior to conception)

Anyone else have a scan happen like this? Or have you gotten to see where abouts baby is position so early on? I'm just so used to them pressed near my bladder all the time but not this time, I'll be a third time Mom and this pregnancy has been super different than my previous two.
