Told my favorite name sounds like a stripper name

Word got out that my top contender for a girls name was Emerald. I thought it was classy and beautiful and had a lot of meaning to me.

But once it slipped out by my “confidential” friend…. It became the butt of the joke. Asking how long until she’s on the pole and good thing she doesn’t have to even worry about coming up with a stage name etc.

I dont want to set her up for failure. Do you truly think it sounds like a “stripper name”? Please be honest because it never even crossed my mind before it was getting ridiculed
