So I have a little boy by an ex of mine. My boyfriend now has been with us since he was 2 months old, he's 9 months old now. The biological father hasn't had anything to do with him, but I still want to try and encourage a relationship between him and my son. I said I planned on inviting him to my sons first birthday party, and my boyfriend got pissed. Any time he hears my exes name he gets mad and says really bad things about him, whether my son is in the room or not.

Where I am upset is because my boyfriend is putting his own anger ahead of my child. Am I in the wrong?
