Sleep never recover since regression?

Hello May mommas! I’m not sure if I’m looking for advice or just support/ venting haha but has anyone else’s little babe sleep pattern never recover since going thru the 4 month sleep regression? Our little guy was sleeping 7-8 hours a night and then BAM- teething + 4 month regression and boy did he regress lol! Those 7-8 hours turned into 1-2 hours sometimes a magical 3 hour stretch would happen but this lasted for almost 4 full weeks. Then FINALLY we were started to sleep more again 4 hours sometimes even 6 but never got those 7-8 hour stretches back 😩. Even now rounding the corner to 6 months we are slipping backwards to waking every hour. I’m exhausted. My husband is exhausted. Hell I think even our dogs are exhausted from being woke up with us doing laps around our kitchen at 3 am 😂. We’ve tried everything we can think of: baths, naps, lights, dark, white noise, books, big feedings, little feedings, timing, etc and nothing seems to make a single difference. Sometimes he is fussy when he wakes, other times he is just… awake grabbing his feet and smiling babbling at us haha which is adorable even at all time of the night but my brain is about to fall out of my butt from sleeplessness. Is anyone going through something similar? I think it might help to know we aren’t doing anything wrong and some babies just do this 😵‍💫
