How many times can I take plan b?

I saw somewhere that plan b shouldn’t be taken no more than twice a year… I’m not sure about that though. I don’t have daily or weekly sex so it wouldn’t make sense to go on birth control cus I also use condoms. But is It ok if I take plan b every other month ?

NO. That will cause so much damage to your body and cycle. Plan B is EMERGENCY contraceptive. Meaning you use it for emergencies. It’s not candy. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have sex often. Just get on birth control for when you do have sex or you could just stay abstinent and not have sex at all. Don’t be ignorant and disregard information just because it doesn’t fit what you want it to say.

You said you use condoms. That’s a great form of protection from pregnancy and STDs. You can combine condoms with other forms of birth control and avoid plan B altogether (since it really messes with your hormonal balance). You could do condoms + hormonal birth control, condoms + pull out, condoms + rhythm. You’ve got this!

You shouldn't really ever have to take plan B more than once in your life. It's an emergency contraceptive meant to get you our of a bind....then you are supposed to go to your doctor and be put on a reliable form of birth control as well as take other precautions to be sure you never find yourself in that position again. 
Plan B is a SERIOUS hormone disruptor. It essentially hijacks the part of your brain that handles hormone regulation. It pulls the "stop" lever on your cycle and then forces your body to do something it's not programmed to do.
