Finally got my myomectomy
After a few yrs of avoiding surgery I finally did it. I couldn’t live with them taking over my stomach. The team removed 30. One second I had a calm team of nurses and anesthesiologists telling me that they were starting to give me anesthesia. Then I was relaxed and the next moment was them waking me up after surgery. I wasn’t scared surprisingly bc someone mentioned to me prior that it would feel like 2 seconds to me and it did. The aftermath is painful but you just have to manage the medication and it’ll get better. I’m on day 4 post surgery and the doc said I have to wait 6 mos before I can start trying. I’m 41, ovulate regularly and totally have hope in conceiving. ❤️
