Do you have opposite sex friends?

Hi everyone, it’s so hard for me to keep my guy friends. Do you really have friends that’s are the opposite sex? My guy friends either have their gfs who do not want them talking to me or my guy “friends” would flirt joke with me so when I tell them I’m dating someone they ghost me. 
My bf has a few gfs that he talks too and I don’t understand why it’s so hard for me.
I’ve never had a guy friend because they wanted more or because of their gfs..
It hurts that I see my bf with his friends but I don’t have any my own & I don’t really get along w girls so I only have two gfs

I have mostly guy friends and very few girl friends. My guy friends I've known since childhood and any time a partner of mine or theirs gets insecure about our friendship, we give them an adjustment period but after that they're gone. We don't put up with ignorance or insecurities damaging our friendships. In some cases, people feel like they can "level up" from friend to romantic interest when your intention is to remain friends so, it's nothing you're doing wrong, they're just being stupid. Keep putting yourself out there and stand firm on what you expect from the friendships you develop, eventually you'll find people that truly are looking for friends as well. I would suggest to look in hobbies you enjoy first, see if there are workshops to go to, online groups to join related to it, etc. Finding people with similar interests is usually the easiest way to make friends and if the friendship doesn't work out with one person, there are plenty of others to choose from and there's the possibility of others reaching out to you and striking up a friendship that way. Don't give up hope and I'm rooting for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Most of my friends are guys or their wives. I was really the only girl in the group and then more got brought in as they got into relationships

I had most of my male friends in school. But as we got older and went away to college and life kept moving we lost touch and don’t talk anymore. I have my group of 4-5 girlfriends and I’m close and friendly with their husbands and boyfriends because they’re also my husbands close friends. I’m also friends with his friends because again, we’re in the same social circles. but I haven’t made any other male friends because I’m not really around men in a social setting anymore nor am I seeking out male friendship. I work in Women’s health so I work with all women so day to day, the only man I really interact with is my husband. My husband works in event planning so he works with a lot of women and has become friendly with some of them. It’s all about quality vs. quantity, gender, age etc. if you have 1-2 good girlfriends, that’s fantastic.

I have one really close guy friend. We've been friends for years and years. He's gay so that helps with him not flirting with me! Lol. I used to have mostly only guy friends but with moving long distances a couple times I'm not close with any of them anymore. Andy is the only one who's stuck with me! I really only have probably 3 close friends total now that I've moved 3 hours away from where I lived since 2004. My husband has one super close female friend. I don't know what her husband thinks of their friendship but I trust both of them completely. They could share a shake with one straw and it wouldn't bother me. 
I suck at making friends in general so couldn't help with making a guy friend in particular. I would say they weren't true friends if they ghosted you or let their girlfriends dictate who they talk to.

my best friend of 20+ year is a male and i have plenty of guy friends who are like brothers to me. i’ve also been with my boyfriend for 15 years. he doesn’t have any girl friends but if he did and because i can trust him, i wouldn’t mind.
