So frustrated because I cannot seem to lose weight even as a nutritionist
I graduated with my BS in Nutritional Science in 2012. I’ve always had a healthy relationship with food and I enjoy helping people eat for health, but I can’t get it together for myself apparently and I don’t know what piece I’m missing.
I had my second son in 2020 and gained about 40lbs. Part of that was because of lockdown and not doing anything. And I have NOT been able to lose the weight. My body feels foreign to me. For months now I have exercised 5x a week and I only consume around 1600-1800 calories a day, which is what I professionally recommend for sustainable weight loss. (Further calorie restriction is not healthy for an adult). I also eat high protein, low carb meals. I’m just so frustrated and venting. I feel like I’m always going to be chubby now and who is going to take me seriously as their nutritionist when I still look pregnant?
