Covid
Last month my grandma had COVID-19.. she said to her it felt like a bad cold. Quick story- She and my grandpa wanted to take custody of my niece when she was a baby 8 years ago because my sister wasn’t mentally capable to take care of her.
Anyway back to Covid- she needed help taking care of my niece and I didn’t because my son has asthma (breathing problems) so I was afraid that I would catch it then give to him. My mother is getting backlash and they have been so nasty to her because she was also afraid of catching the virus bc she didn’t know how it would affect her. They have made my niece act so mean to my mom (her grandmother) because of not going over there while they were sick. My mom will call my niece but she will say “ I don’t want to talk to you” hangs up- my mom has said my grandpa and grandma are in the background snickering about it saying she is 9… she sees that you didn’t help.
Are we wrong for not helping? She didn’t once question my nieces actual mom to come over there at all- even though she did to bring groceries once a week and few other items
