How many words is your little one using?

Every kid is different. My first has a speech delay. My May baby has over 50 regularly used including colors. Its insane how truly different they are. Same parents, same parenting style. 
Most kids catch up fine :)

My son has a very good vocabulary I stopped counting because he’s talking now.

Our boy is saying around 50 words, including mimicking (animal and vehicle) sounds, of which I’m sure he knows what they mean (he often repeats something we say but I don’t think he’s always aware of their meaning/remembers). But I think he talks a lot relatively - he’s called the chatterbox at daycare. 
On the other hand, he was not not too fast with getting in sitting position and walking independently (12 cq 17 months). And my nephew for example was relatively late with, well, almost everything, but once he did pick up on something he was immediately quiet good at it (he seemed to wait until he was sure he could before he showed stuff). So every child is different and develops in different orders and at different paces!

He knows quite a few words but I would say consistently uses 5-7. (Cookie, trash truck, cheese, mama, dada, snack, quack quack 🦆).

He's speaking in sentences already. Three-word ones. But he started speaking at 7 months old and knew 50 words before he was one.
