Do you do elf on the shelf?

I’ve never done it as i don’t really understand it but out of curiosity who does it?

Apparently elf on the shelf for kids is that the elf is watching they every move (parents move the elf around the house) and that elf reports back to Santa if the kids are naughty or being nice. Personally I find that doing to much cause I would forget about the damn elf lol

Nope. I think it’s creepy as hell. A doll that follows you around, watching everything you do and then reporting back to Santa? I’m good.

Yes. My oldest has autism and asks about the elf all year. But I forget to move it pretty much every night so the elf is “sick” often 🤦‍♀️🤣.

Yes but they are there for fun, not to spy on the kids lol. They bring a little craft, or a treat or they do funny things

so my family is all 16+ , we have the elf but we play a game w him. one person puts him out and then others can move him and when he’s found again, he can be moved. it’s just a cycle of us playing hide and seek with the elf lol

I grew up in Southern CA and have never heard of it. My sisters grew up in OH and its a thing here. Someone puts that elf into silly settings for a photo. That's all my sisters ever did. Haha.
