Is it normal to not hear baby's heartbeat on doppler at 11 week?

Yesterday I had my first in office prenatal appointment. The midwife tried to find baby's heartbeat on Doppler but couldn't I got immediately worried because of my miscarriage in June. Has anyone gone through this around 11 weeks??

My office doesn't even use the doppler until 22+ weeks! I definitely wouldn't stress it.

My midwife couldn’t find it once at 22 weeks 🤪 I felt baby moving so I knew all was well but she just couldn’t track him down.

They never even tried with me until I was around 15/16 weeks

My son’s heartbeat couldn’t be heard at 10 weeks. I wouldn’t worry

My OB had a hard time at 15 weeks so we went to do an ultrasound and she was just in there happy and healthy. Dopplers are finicky

With my last baby my OB couldn't find his heartbeat at my 12 week checkup so he rushed me in to have an ultrasound. Baby was fine just tucked away. 😅 I had an anterior placenta.

It’s hard to find . I wouldn’t worry. do they offer ultrasound? If not you can book a private ultrasound with a business

Mine couldn’t find it on Doppler at 11 weeks last pregnancy but they just did a quick sono to confirm everything was ok

Yes! I actually went into the ER for some red spotting when I was 11 weeks and they checked for the heartbeat before doing an ultrasound and there was nothing (which obviously scared the shit out of me). But they said it was still early so it was possible we wouldn't hear anything. When I got the ultrasound, she was doing somersaults in my belly, perfectly fine ☺️
