Does this seem like tonsillitis?

So since yesterday I realised it hurts a bit to swallow.. Not that bad but hurts. Then today I looked at them and seen they were swollen and had white dots? I’ve never had tonsillitis before so idk..

I had it all the time growing up! It sucks.
I'd only drink tea and have soup, anything else hurt. My mom would make me gargle warm salt water. I hated it! Lol
Over the counter meds should help. Like cough drops, and any kind of cough syrup that helps with sore throats.
Plenty of sleep, rest, and water. Depending how bad you probably wouldn't have to go to the doctor. But if you're worried then it never hurts.
