Air/finger writing

Sometimes when I think of or hear a word I “write” it repeatedly with my finger. Like if I hear/read the word “stronger” I move my index finger like it’s a pen and write out stronger over and over again and picture it actually being written. I naturally do this unintentionally. I do this discreetly when my hands not visible. I don’t make large movements or need my hand in any position my finger just goes. I’ve done this for as long as I can remember. just tonight I was on my phone and I started to write my name repeatedly and I was just sitting there thinking why do I do this? So I got onto Google and it says autism or visual learners do air writing but I don’t fall into that outside of this tick I have. Maybe visual learner. Does anyone else do this or have any idea why I do it? Lol
