2cm dilated at 2am. Baby born at 8.50am. Is this a quick labour for first baby?

It's hard to say with just knowing your dilation - are you saying that's when your labor started? Either way, if it felt quick to you, that's fantastic!

My first baby was dilated 2cm….. 37 mins later I was holding him
Second baby was watching a film checked the time 11.18pm felt a twang then all off a sudden pain came at 11.27pm I was holding my daughter 
No pain relief no tears no complications thankgod

With my first, I got to the hospital to be induced at 7 pm. The induction process started at about 8 pm and I had her at 8:51 am the next morning. I went from being 5 cm to complete within an hour. I got the epidural, thought yay, I get to sleep for a bit, and then bam! She was here. Many times labor lasts for 16-24 hrs, I would definitely say that yours was quick too. I’m nervous this time because now I’m having twins and they always say that your second labor is faster than your first one.

Yes I'd say so! I think they say you dilate about a cm an hour (in most text book type labours) so going off that rule yes
