What should i consider when choosing

a first, middle and surname. So they sound like they belong together to make a whole of a child's name.

Mostly you should consider what names you love!
But some other things to consider as well:
-generally good to avoid multiple names that end in the same sound (Ashley Blakeley)
-generally good to avoid multiple one syllable names because they often sound choppy together (Ben Sam Brown)
-generally good to avoid choosing a name that’s the same name as a serial killer, or has the same initials as a hate group or deadly disease.
-generally good to avoid something super sing-songy or that sounds like a joke or a gimmick
-might be good to avoid a name that will get mispronounced or misspelled constantly… this is not a hard and fast rule, just a consideration, since it might be frustrating for the child
-some people like to avoid names that are in the top ten or top twenty for your country or area (depending where you live, you can look up these statistics online)

Consider what the initials will be as well as the actual names, eg Tasha indigo Taylor would be TIT - not good! (Random example I know, it was the only thing I could think of lol).

I would also think of the name in a few scenarios:
-kids on a playground screaming it
-a grown adult being called into a job interview
-teen being announced for sports/clubs
-tsa calling their name over the loudspeaker
I know there’s more but that’s off the top of my head, but it’s helped me be a little more realistic about picking something that will suit them their whole life, not just something cutsie when they’re little

Sound them out.
Think about what the initials are, my three kids are:
GEB - Geoffrey Elijah
XJB - Xander James
MWB - Mark William
There is an ad on TV here in Australia, when a baby is born and the parents decide to call him Callum Murray (Calamari) because they haven't had a morning iced coffee.
My point is, consider these things as well, how they sound with the surname and if kids will pick on their name.
My maiden surname was White, Theresa White was my name and kids picked on my name saying trees aren't White, Theresa Green. 😊

Someone told me to should the full name out loud and that will most likely rule some out or you might just find a winner. And remember that some names are super cute for little ones but they might not sound so great for an adult man or woman. Remember there name with them for the rest of their lives. Congratulations!!

We picked the middle name first for both our kids after family names. The first name was more challenging.

What I found helped me most was the process of writing the names out to look at the combos - then saying them, yelling them, playing around with nicknames seeing what felt best. 
We have a short H last name, I personally prefer shorter middle names as well. My name and maiden name were so longgg so I like them shorter 😅
My kiddos are: Denver Scott and Piper Brynn
