How long is too long to drive to work?

I have found a job about an hour and 10 minutes away. It’s only 4 days a week and the pay is very good for me. The company is good and provide bonuses often. I drive a small compact car so I get about 28mpg. Im just struggling to figure out if the commute is too long?

Back and forth would be 2 hours of your day!! Excluding traffic. It’s mentally and physically draining.

I spend almost over an hour in traffic everyday, when my workplace is about 20min drive without traffic. So I'd say an hour is normal for me cause I got used to it... But to tell you the truth it's very tiring!

That’s a pretty typical commute for our old area. It’s up to you whether it’s too much or not. I didn’t mind the time to listen to podcasts or talk to friends on the phone 🤷🏼‍♀️

It depends on how you feeling about driving in general. Keep in mind you’ll have to do it after a long hard day. If you don’t mind the drive and can afford the gas, GO FOR IT! A great job is sometimes worth the drive/hassle. I commuted nearly two hours every day before for an unpaid internship because it helped my long term goals.

If it’s good for you do it. Personally I wouldn’t do that but if it’s for an important job with an opening for a serious job future I’d do it.

My job is 15 min drive away. 
My partners is usually between 30mins and an hour depending on where he is.

It would be a hard no for me, but I hate driving and have anxiety when doing so. Some people like driving, even in traffic and use it as their time to be alone or whatever. Personally I would rather have that time to do something else that makes me happy.

Depends on your plan. Does this have a big benefit financially after deducting the cost of gas and 2 hours commuting? And would u consider relocating if there is opportunity for advancement and the benefits are good.
