When are you starting solids?

We will start when she can sit up on her own. She is already getting pretty close so probably around 5 months old.

My doctor has us start with rice cereal or oatmeal at 4 months old, so we will be giving it a try at the end of this month.

We tried a couple times but he’s not interested at all so we’ll probably wait a little while longer

I started them last week my boy is 4 months old and was definitely ready to start. He has become so interested in food already so I have started feeding him 1 jar of baby food about 30-45 minutes after he eats his bottle at around dinner time and he loves it! He was also showing other signs of readiness like sitting assisted and holding his head up great. I will probably bump him up to two jars one in the morning and one at night in the next week or two.

My little guy is 3 months 3 weeks and just did a little cereal with banana in it and he loved it!!! Coincidentally he has been asleep now since 645 and hasn't woken up for more than a teething tablet and reposition (now 1 am) which is also his new longest sleep stretch....
