Do you prefer cold medicine in pill or syrup form?

I asked my husband to go get me some cold medicine since I wasn’t feeling well. I asked him to get Mucinex or Robitussin because I saw that they were both safe during pregnancy. I told him to get whichever was cheaper. He got back and had paid almost $12 for Robitussin. I asked him how much the Mucinex was and he said that he didn’t even check because they only had pills and he knew I’d prefer the syrup. I 100% prefer to take pills, so I was wondering if anyone actually prefers the syrup. lol

I hate swallowing pills especially if Im sick and all stuffy, it triggers gag reflex....I only do liquid

The syrup works faster to me. I like pills cause they don’t taste like arsenic, but they unfortunately don’t give instant relief. I guess you could say it depends on how severe the sickness is for me.

I didn’t realize you’re pregnant. I hate the adult cold medicine liquid stuff. It’s terrible. But during my pregnancies, I can’t even take a small allergy pill without wanting to gag. So I’d probably have to do liquid.

I prefer pills but the syrup js cheaper so I usually buy that instead.

It honestly depends for me. I’m a sucker for the grape or cherry flavor Motrin you get for kids tbh….there are some days I just really want that over the adult stuff 😂 But if I go with the adult stuff I try to do a pill but if I have to then I do liquid.
