39 +4 weeks and this is what I got after pumping for maybe 5 minutes? Is this normal???

You probably have either the wrong size flange or you were pumping on to high of a mode

Not normal. Did your doctor advise you to start pumping? I’ve always been told not to do that before birth. But I know some are advised otherwise

That’s not normal colostrum is supposed to be gold looking or breastmilk supposed to look gray,tan,white ish that’s blood that you took out your breast

I was still pumping / nursing with my last baby (16 months strong) when I got pregnant this time. Towards the end, as you taper off, sometimes blood is leaking. It could be the ducts have some trauma from the pump suction being to high, too fast, or the wrong side flanges. Also, you may have torn the outside on the areola or  your nipple due to the things I listed. The milk with come naturally, no need to pump right now. Get more comfortable with your pump and settings - lots of YouTube videos and such, if you would like to continue.

You’re not suppose to be pumping while pregnant unless advised by your dr which is very unlikely
