I feel absolutely disgusting!

We live in the upstairs of a duplex. The tenant downstairs was just evicted and it was discovered that he was a hoarder and left the most disgusting mess behind.

It’s been cleaned, but has been vacant for the past 2 months and heat was turned off.

Over the past week we have seen 4 cockroaches now. Since there is nothing downstairs for them anymore and it’s too cold down there, they’ve moved up to our home place.

I feel disgusted and dirty.

I keep the house very tidy, dust and vacuum every couple days. But we have a toddler and she’s constantly making crumbs.

I cannot stop crying thinking of how they’re probably out all night and worrying they’re going to make us sick.

Pest control can’t come out until next week and I don’t know what to do! I’ve cleaned the house as best as I can but I still feel dirty! 😭
