2 month old baby hair care tips ?

Is it okay for me to wash my baby hair once a week ? Also what product can I use to keep my baby hair moisturized ? Is coconut oil or baby Vaseline good for hair moisturizer ? 
Also, someone recommended on not to wash my baby hair at all cause it’ll fall out. But wouldn’t taking proper care of it would make it grow ?

Baby’s hair will fall out if it falls out…no matter what you do.
I do once a week with a gentle baby soap. I brush it while it’s wet and that’s it. She doesn’t have cradle cap currently. She had the start of it a month ago and I just drubbed breast milk on it during a bath.
My daughters skin would be so dry if I bathed her daily with soap.

My baby had beautiful hair from birth still does. We washed every day and had no issues with it falling out. We used dove, aveeno and Johnson & Johnson baby shampoos.

Once a week is fine. But if you have issues with cradle cap you may want to do it more often. We found that washing with a mild hair & body wash each bath time worked. Also the best tip I got was to brush baby’s hair while wet with a baby brush in bath to avoid cradle cap. 
No coconut oil. You want to avoid all food based products on baby skin to avoid allergies.
We used QV baby wash since it’s got for sensitive skin but depends where you are if that’s available or not. I’m in Australia.
