Hand out book my dr sent me was no spicy food and other things….. but I haven’t actually seen my dr yet

No way I eat hot hot spicy Thai food and load up on chillies 3rd pregnancy doing so. Never ever heard that. All my Thai friends would be in trouble if that’s the case and many other cultures

It’s said that in the third trimester that spicy food can help induce labor, but I think that baby is gonna come when it is their time to come. I have had spicy foods throughout my whole pregnancy whenever I craved it with both babies. Also other friends and family ate spicy food being pregnant and it didn’t hurt the baby. Enjoy some spicy food! The worst that can come out of it is heartburn if it were to effect you that way. My OB was never worried about me eating spicy food either.

I only think they say that cause you’re now more prone to heart burn and acid reflex, but you’re gonna have it anyways. You might as well eat the good stuff!
