Anyone have to deliver at 34 weeks due to preeclampsia?

Question

I'm in the hospital do to severe preeclampsia and they want to deliver next weekend at 34 weeks and I was just informed he is a bit small.
What should I expect?
Do you think itll be vaginal or c section?
How long do you think itll be until he gets to come home?
Just looking for your opinions and guidance!

I went into labor due to my water breaking with my first daughter at 34 + 6, but was in labor so long when she was born she was 35 weeks. She was only 5lbs, I had to get a steroid shot to mature her lungs, she had a little trouble maintaining her body temp but I was able to take her home after 4 days. Unfortunately we had lots of appointments that first week and she had high jaundice levels at her very first one and ended up in the nicu a night under blue lights to lower her bilirubin. She came home officially to never return at 6 days :) good luck!!

hi mama!
i was induced at 34 weeks because my water started leaking at 17 weeks.
labor/delivery went smoothly, she was born vaginally after pushing for 10 minutes.
she weight 4lb 7oz, did not require any oxygen or resuscitation.
the thing with 34 weekers is they are so unpredictable. some require oxygen while others breath perfect on their own. some require an NG tube to help get their nutrition while others already have the suck-swallow-breath down. 
my daughter was in the nicu for 3 weeks because of her feeding, she would tire out before her bottles were done so they kept her until she had the endurance. she also had apnea/brady spells when her O2 or HR would drop temporarily, so she was on oral caffeine for about a week until those resolved.
i do know that a lot of 34 weekers i know of only stayed about a week maybe 2, i guess my daughter wanted a longer vaca🥴
now she is a spunky, energetic, healthy 2 year old who is completely caught up with her milestones and has impressive speech. you'd never know she was a preemie. 
i know it's scary, just the unknown, i pray everything goes smoothly for you and your baby!

I went into the hospital with my first pregnancy at 34 weeks exactly and they monitored me because apparently I had preeclampsia and HELLP so they induced me but after 30 hours of labor I had an emergency c-section because my sons heart rate kept dropping, we were both so exhausted from labor. He was almost 6lbs (big for a premie) but stayed in the NICU for 1 week for observation because he was fine on his own. Most babies stay longer but it’s ok because NICU nurses are amazing and so understanding of moms feelings and are great with babies!!
