Are 80s workouts real workouts?
So, I HATE working out. I either get bored, annoyed, or just in general, feel miserable the entire time. When I do work out, I prefer to stand, floor exercises give me a massive headache, which, even if I did enjoy the experience, puts a heavy damper the rest of the day.
So I just prefer to take long walks with my toddler and dog.
One day, after noticing I wasn't going under 150 (my goal is 140), and I hadn't been as active due to it getting colder outside, I decided to have fun and put on an 80s work out video I found on YouTube.
I was having so much fun! It felt like a good workout as well. My 1 y/o daughter joined in. I didn't finish it but only had 25 minutes left after an hour of working out.
My garmin watch said I burned 260 calories and did 3000 steps!
Enter my husbands opinion. He thinks the work outs aren't real, & that I should do "REAL EXERCISE".
