Boobs don’t hurt??

I decided I wanted to do combo feeding for my 5 week old bc I was thinking about stopping breast feeding altogether and wanted to see how it would go giving him a bottle with formula (yes I know my supply will go down and I hate pumping so I’m not).
However, sometimes I give him a bottle and then go hours without breastfeeding him and my boobs DONT hurt at all. Does that mean my supply is already going down? When I nurse him, he gets enough and is fine.

Definitely, if you go more than three or four hours without feeding regularly your supply will tank

Probably, breastfeeding is a supply and demand thing. They ask for it and you make it, if they aren't asking for it then you won't make as much. If they aren't hurting when you go long periods, you probably aren't producing enough for them to hurt in between so stopping wouldn't be super hard if you wanted to
