ADHD tics?

My son is 9 and as far back as I can remember he has always shown signs of ADHD. He’s loud, can’t sit still, impulsive, interrupts, has a hard time focusing, can’t stay organized, loses things, is clumsy, fidgets all the time, etc. But lately he’s been doing something new. He blinks aggressively and fast, and twitches his neck. It started out minor, and not very often, but for the last week I’ve noticed it’s gotten way more severe and he goes about maybe a few seconds without doing it. I don’t know if it’s something I should take him to the doctor for, or if I should just leave it alone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
