Positive result after 9 days late

Hey all

I done a test this morning 9 days late, does this look promising? Its quite a faint line. I’ve called my doctors to ask what I need to do next and they said they’ll call me back in 8 days! I’m new to this, I’m hoping it’s not a false positive or a chemical.
