Which one should I take?

I have pick one for college. I am unsure which one I want take. My bf speaks Spanish and always wanted learn, he has no patients teaching me. I feel like important that I know how communicate with him and his family. However, I also always wanted to take ASL in school, something that has always caught my interest. I am unsure😖

I think Spanish would be easier since you’d have someone to practice with, and at least where I’ve lived (NW united states) Spanish would be much more useful day to day.

You can always learn whichever you don’t take elsewhere. On instagram I follow sign grow to learn sign language for my baby. I’ve learned so many signs and can even communicate a little with our hard of hearing employees at work. I still have a lot to learn but she has made learning ASL so much easier and fun for me. 
Spanish - I took 9 years from elementary to high school and I barely know any but all of my teachers were by the book and I don’t learn well that way. I think I’d do better with Rosetta Stone or something. 
But since your boyfriend and his family speak Spanish - maybe take that and just watch ASL videos and learn on the side.
