Strollers!!

Mamas! What stroller did you get?? I’m a first time mom to me and I have no idea where to start with car seats and strollers!!

Uppababy Vista. Its pricey but totally worh it

I chose the Donkey 3 Mono from Bugaboo and honestly the main reason is the future! It has great features and it’s best feature is converting into a double stroller whenever baby #2 comes along. I never liked the idea of a double stroller where the seats are kinda stacked on top of each other. This has the two right next to each other. It comes with the bassinet and the seat which can be put facing you or facing out. I know my sisters have all regretted not getting this their first time around. They purchased it after having their second. I figured I’d save myself the price of rebuying on later on.

Very easy to fold and you can purchase adapters should your family grow in size. There are multiple attachments available!

I love my graco modes travel system, we use it a ton. I also have a grace breaze umbrella stroller that we could click the car seat into as well.

Try narrowing your search down to only nontoxic brands. I went with Nuna for everything, but other nontoxic brands include Clek, Uppababy, Britax, and Maxi Cosi. According to consumer reports the Clek infant seat is actually the highest rated one so I probably would have considered either that or Uppababy if I didn’t go with Nuna. I have no regrets about my Nuna products though. I have the Pipa infant seat for my youngest, Rava convertible seat for my 4yo, and the Mixx2 stroller. For a lightweight travel stroller I have the Uppababy Minu.

UppaBaby Cruz! It’s a bit smaller than the uppababy Vista (so also cheaper) but it fits nicer into vehicles and easier to lug around. We also didn’t think we’d use the main selling feature of the Vista, which is to attach a second seat. If you don’t think you’ll attach a second seat, then you’re just paying for a larger bottom basket! The Cruz bottom basket is plenty big enough for us :)

Do you have a buy buy baby near you? We went there when I was pregnant with our first and the sales people in each department walked us through everything so that we found options that met our needs. It was super helpful. Everyone is different and looking for different things so it will help to see what best suits your needs

Congratulations! I’m a FTM as well. We’re going with the Nuna pipa lite lx car seat and Uppababy vista with the bassinet 😊 There’s so many options, it’s overwhelming!
