Do you recommend the pack n play with the bassinet?

I have a 4 year old son and may be expecting again. I'm super early so miscarriage is always possible. Anyway, we don't have a lot of space and I'm thinking of ways to save on space, unlike my first child.

I've decided I not do want a crib. My son never slept in it anyway so it was a waste of space. I really like the playpen with the bassinet and changing table. Did anybody else use this as a baby bed? Let me know other space-saving options if you have any. We only have one bedroom so we are really tight. Thanks!
