Signs CPS is watching your home?

I didn’t know where to post this. My husband and I went through a domestic violence 6 months ago and ever since then I’ve been working with CPS. The case is against him, and I’m not a respondent, but because I have the kids in my home a worker sees them once a month in home. My husband is ordered out of home, and can have supervised visits with a family member. I feel like CPS is watching my house though. Yesterday there was a white Lincoln sitting a house down from mine, on, facing towards my house. I let my dog inside and had to get ready to bring my kids to the doctor. The car was still there. Headlights on and that. I couldn’t see inside to see if someone was there. I got my son in the car, and always load my kids one by one, leave my front door open. I grabbed my daughter and then got her in the car. As soon as I go to get into the car the car turns around and quickly speeds away. I wasn’t able to see who was in it. What are signs CPS is watching you? And why?

Uh that’s creepy. I’d probably have an officer go check it out. If they are watching you there’s no reason for them to speed off and if you’re not under investigation there’s no reason for them to be watching you.

Uhh no they don't do that, maybe your ex husband hired someone or it is him? I'd call the police and give the license plate. Better safe and even if it's them they don't need to speed off.

My roommate is an ex child welfare worker. They have never staked out on a client. They just dont have time for that kinda thing. Lucky if they do their minimum muchh less an extra. Not a knock on them, theyre overworked and underpaid

Far more likely the ex and or someone he has hired to dig up dirt on you. Tell the police and tell CPS. If you feel safe doing it or have someone that can go with you casually go talk to the driver of the car.

Usually (usually) CPS would be driving a state issued vehicle. Those are almost always a Ford. They have to be American made. It's usually like a Ford sedan of some sort. 
I've worked for CPS. There would be no reason for them to like stake out your house, and it's pretty unethical. The caseworker would have had to have gone rogue. 
Also, I promise you they have MUCH bigger fish to fry. Your case is definitely not of their highest priority. There are kids at much greater risk.
