I work M-F and my husband stays home with our 2 year old. M-F I wake up to my alarm and he wakes up when the baby wakes up, usually about an hour after I wake up. On the weekends I wake up with the baby and he sleeps till he wakes up on his own.

I was thinking, once in awhile I’d like to wake up on my own. Not all the time, I like the just me and baby time in the morning. But once in awhile it would be nice to just sleep. So I brought it up to my husband last night.

He tells me I “ technically” sleep in since our daughter sleeps past when my alarm would usually go off. Told me I’m a little selfish for asking, since his sleep in time is past when our daughter wakes up.

I didn’t think I was being selfish… was I? I don’t know what to make of this.
