I FIGURED OUT THE PERFECT THANKSGIVING

So this is an update from my post yesterday. I have my husband's son living here. He's 16. My husband walked out on him at 7 and his mom just got 15 years in prison. He hates my husband and made that known. He cussed him out A LOT! Never had an issue really with me. The most disrespect I got was an eye roll but he still did as he was told. So I didn't know what we were gonna do for Thanksgiving because I don't have a relationship with my family and I kicked my husband out for his bullshit so I'm not invited to his families Thanksgiving. I figured it out! So my step son has a friend from back at home. They talk any chance they can get. It's his best friend and they were both the artsy kids at school. He said he mainly spent Thanksgiving with him and his mom depending on what personality his mom decided to be that day (yeah my step son told me stories on his mom. While she didn't walk out on him like his dad.... she's crazy). So I found the boys mom on Facebook. They live 6 hours away and he obviously misses him and I'm gonna surprise him with his best friend for Thanksgiving. They have such a sweet friendship. Like they both say I love you to each other which I don't see a lot of guys do. They have no issue showing their love for each other. I'm also gonna buy him more art supplies so they can paint together outside. I think it will be the perfect Thanksgiving for him! What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Edit: @Florida. I talked to the mom. They're flying down HERE and I'm gonna pick them up at the air port.
