Mormons definition of Soaking

So, I was visiting my family in Utah and, found out that Mormons do this thing called “Soaking”. Firstly am not religion bashing.

Anyways, my mother-in law was talking to her co workers (they’re Mormon) and they were talking about how they or someone they knew (back in high school) would soak.

What is “soaking” you ask? Well it’s not what you think it is, it’s where the female & the male lay down on a bed naked, missionary style. The male is inside the female and they just lay there like that, they don’t move. But they have someone else jump on the bed for them to create the friction! Wtf?! Right?

They do this instead of “have sex”. Even tho it is sex but, they call it a “loop hole” and say it’s not sex because no neither of the 2 are contributing to the “friction” and to them they aren’t contributing to pre-marital sex. They do this anywhere from middle school to college!

Is this not freaking weird, and irresponsible and idk wtf.

I mean think about it, if they think that’s not sex.. they probably aren’t being safe or anything.

Alright we’ll, I just needed to tell you guys because I never heard of it before.

Edit*** I absolutely am not in any way trying to make Mormons look bad/weird. Yes, this is absolutely a crazy idea and makes no sense. It very much may be false for many many people however, my family’s Mormon friends in the Layton area say it’s pretty common this around that area.
