Birth control post partum?

What form of birth  control  are people  using these days ? And what are side affects  . I would rather  NOT using an iud or anything  that stops my period.  Im done having kids after I have  my 3rd in june

I debated this for a long time but we decided on condoms and cycle tracking with BBT. the last time I was on birth control it made me miserably depressed and gain a lot of weight.

I’m on the pill but wanted the Nuva ring but a side effect of it was losing your milk supply so I wasn’t about to do that. I LOVED the nuva ring before trying to get pregnant though so if your not breastfeeding I highly recommend!

I can’t be on any form of hormonal birth control due to nasty side effects like chronic yeast infections and suicidal depression. I also don’t feel comfortable being on any form of birth control that I can’t completely control myself, so IUDs and implants are out.
We use condoms and Fertility Awareness. I check my cervical fluid and cervix position every day to determine if I’m fertile that day. If I am, we abstain from sex. If I’m not, we use condoms. I haven’t ovulated yet due to breastfeeding, but I’ve had some potentially fertile days. Once I do ovulate and it’s confirmed with BBT, then I know we’re safe to have sex with or without a condom.

I have the Paraguard IUD. I didn't want to get an IUD and had planned to do the mini pill again like I did after my first. But then I had blood clots 2 weeks after my second was born and now I can't take birth control pills. So I went with the Paraguard because it's non hormonal and what my OBGYN recommended. I will say even though the IUD wasn't my first choice it is really nice to not have to remember to take the pill every day. My last cycle was 35 days though and I bled for 10 days.

I got on the mini pill. That was awful. Non stop spotting all the damn time. Got back on the pill I was on before ttc. That made me severely depressed and my periods got heavy again.
So we've used condoms.

Just condoms. Might use something more long-term when we're done having children, but I'm not sure
