Hello everyone , looking for some of your experiences and stories please .

3rd baby , 38 weeks .

Had a sweep yesterday morning by midwife ( consultant agreed on early sweep before all the comments saying i’m early 🙈)

I was 3cm dilated and she then gave me a good sweep , and cervix was 1.5cm long .

Had on and off tightenings here and there but nothing in a pattern or anything so I assumed the sweep didn’t work , then by tonight i’ve lost my mucus plug ( big clump of it even though it doesn’t look that big but it was ) and have slight back ace tonight and tightening but tightenings don’t hurt .

How long did everyone go into labour after loosing M plug and knowing you’ve dilated a bit ? I know that some can go weeks and days and it can grow back ect I know all of this , but surely with the sweep and that i’m 3cm things are moving in the right directions right ? 🙏🏼Hope she’ll come naturally before I have to be induced 🙃
