Did a sweep help you with your first pregnancy?

Just trying to make a decision for tomorrow. 
I will be 39+6... But haven't really felt much contractions, if anything. I'm new to this whole thing so don't know what is what really... 
I am also having a home birth unless I have to get induced... Which I will have to make a decision about that next Monday at 40+6 if I don't have a spontaneous labour.

Sweep put me into labor with my first born at 41 weeks 5 days. Did nothing for me this time and I ended up having to be induced, but I also was not very dilated to begin with and every doctor and midwife that checked my cervix had to reeeeeeach for it 😂😂

So update, a sweep sucks lol. Super uncomfortable 😂🥵

I didn’t feel anything but at 40 and 3 I had my second sweep and went into labor the next day.
