Appropriate to wear tights?

This might sound silly but Its veeeery rare for me to wear a dress, but I've got myself a nice jumper dress, I have a scan in a couple days and was wondering if it would be appropriate to wear black tights underneath the dress knowing my underwear will be slightly visible or do I go with leggings? I'll be 38 weeks and this dress is sooo comfertable, I'd love to wear it to my scan

Why wear tights or leggings at all? 
They give you a paper sheet to put on if you are in a dress.

Nobody is concerned about fashion standards at scans. They look at vaginas all day. It’s fine 🙄

Keep in mind they need access to your belly for the scan. Leggings will be easier for you to pull down off your bump.

My Ob actually compliments my dresses and tights. I have to wear compression tights and dresses are easy to fit in to. They've always given me a cover to put over my tights when I have to lift my dress up, just like if I had to undress from the waist down
