successful membrane strip???

if you had a successful membrane sweep, how did your day/night go after that leading up to labor???

You can look up my previous post but it was not good. My OB was very rough about it as he was annoyed with me. I was bleeding for hours, not a little bit, but enough to put on a pad and have to change it. It was bright red and no mucus. I was so sore that I couldn't put my older three children (1,3,5) to bed and let them put themselves in bed despite my husband not being home as I couldn't get off the couch. Once he was home I continued to lay on the couch with an ice pack on my labia/vagina curled up in pain until I fell asleep. 
I woke up at 1155, had my first this might be a contraction at 0000, she was born at 0057. I was 41W.

I hear a membrane sweep yesterday around 1:30pm. I was a bit crampy and my back hurt after. At 2:31 am I woke up with contractions unable to get back to sleep. Water broke at 5:21 and baby was born at 5:31am.
I don't know if the membrane sweep had anything to do with it, honestly. My due date is tomorrow and birth my other kids were born at 39 weeks so he was already pushing time to come out. I was already at 4cm when she did it.

I had a sweep done around 3-4pm and then that night started contractions. By morning the next day I was feeling way worse in terms of pain and called my doc . They told me to come in to hospital and I was 8cm apparently! This was at 40 weeks for me
