Positive pregnancy test after miscarriage

Has this happened to anyone or is this happening to anyone else? According to this app I would’ve been about 8 to 9 weeks pregnant already… but I had my first appointment November 23 and was told that I miscarried and that the baby stopped growing at six weeks I took this test today out of curiosity of what it would say I looked online it said my hCG levels could still be high enough to create a positive test but I just don’t understand… has this happen to anyone else did you turn out to be pregnant still or did you really miss carry i’m starting to believe that I’m still pregnant I haven’t bled no cramping nothing… But I also looked online it is possible to still miss Carrie but not have any symptoms I just found it so hard to believe for some reason I feel like I still am…
