When did you start setting baby's Nursery?

This is My first baby and I'm only 14 weeks! At what week did you start buying stuff for baby's room? I want to start some little projects in his room but I'm almost nervous about it.

Girl I’m not even pregnant with the second and I’m working on the nursery 🤣🤣🤣 it really doesn’t matter I’d just make sure you have it done by 34 weeks or so just so you are prepared when baby arrives 😁

We started at about 14! Amazon prime day lol. I say go for it bc all the suddenly you're in your 3,rd trimester and panic that it's not going to get done.   The details add up for sure.

A lot of moms to be wait until the end of pregnancy after the baby shower to see what they get , this is my third baby so I started early this time and I’m honestly so thankful that I did by the end of the second trimester my nursery was completely done I couldn’t imagine doing it any later this pregnancy has been so hard on me the baby has been so low and extreme pain down there that I’m waddling all I had to finish was my night stand with my diaper caddy and the bassinet now the 2 week count down begins ! I always wait until after the baby shower. My mom always buys the crib, my in-laws the dresser, and my husband's grandmother got the stroller each time (regular stroller, then a stroller wagon). We were gifted a play yard basinet by my mom when I was about 20 weeks pregnant with our oldest. I have such dangerous pregnancies that it was essential that we at least had a play for baby to sleep. We don't bother with a nursery until 36-38 weeks. With my oldest I almost went into labor at 34 weeks and with my youngest my body started trying to go into labor at 20 weeks. I almost had our youngest at 31 weeks and almost lost her due to hospital negligence. Somehow I kept her in a few more weeks. We just don't bother until later since baby always sleeps in our room the first 4-6 months. We usually do naps in the crib though. 
My SIL was a week away from her baby shower abd needed an emergency C-section at 32 weeks. They didn't even have a crib yet. They were also being thrown out of their rental house because it was sold out from under them. I called everyone and asked who had what and had everything dripped off to their new house. My BIL, husband, best friend, her husband, and myself (along with our then 16 month old and 2 month old) all rallied together and moved all of their things and got the nursery ready in a single weekend. My nephew didn't come home for 2 months though. Now he's bigger than his big cousins and only a year and a half. The 2 things I recommend are a play yard with a bassinet setting and a carseat around the 30 week mark.

Around 20-22 weeks is when we ordered the nursery furniture and painted the room I think . Then I mostly waited until after the baby shower (34 weeks) to get anything else

I ordered all the major nursery furniture around 20 weeks and my husband and i assembled them as they came in. I started collecting little decor things for the room around the same time and kept everything in bins until after my baby shower around 30 weeks. Once i had everything i started to set things up and put everything away and was done by 32 weeks. I'm 34 weeks now and it's so nice to not have to worry about it doing things last minute and i can just relax for the rest of my pregnancy.
