Didn’t think she was ever going to come lol but she’s finally here at exactly 39 weeks. Had contractions for 7 minutes consistently all day Friday but they didn’t become unbearable until 1:30am Saturday morning. Hospital nurse on call said they weren’t close enough to come in but after 4 babies I know my body pretty well and headed in anyway. 15 minutes later I arrived at the hospital and I was 6cm dilated with contractions 2-3 minutes apart. 30 minutes later I was 8cm and finally got some relief after receiving my epidural. Got some much needed rest for a few hours before I felt the urge to push. Apparently all the other women on the floor got the memo as well and were ready to push as well, so I had to wait 45 minutes for a doctor to arrive. Finally the hospital on call doctor was called and as soon as I was about to push another doctor came in and whisked her away for a shift change lol. Once she was dressed and ready I pushed 2.5 times and baby was here. So blessed baby girl is here and healthy and so happy that our family is complete 💕
